Monika With a K - Tea Light

On the Mornington Peninsula 

Lovely coastal inspired tea light holders with a dash of rustic feeling.

Monika made these tea light holders from slabs of light grey speckled clay by texturing the lace into the wet clay and forming the little vessel. It was glazed inside and partially outside with food safe glazes. The lace pattern was decorated with black underglaze wash and left unglazed to expose the beautiful speckled clay. Fired twice in her electric kiln at 1220'C .
