Monika With a K - Soap Dish

Made on the Mornington Peninsula by Monika Colic 

Turquoise lace rectangle square ceramic soap dish with drainage holes, floral rustic farmhouse coastal pottery soap holder.

Hand formed soap dish from a slab of creamy white earthenware clay and textured with some vintage lace. It has drainage holes and little feet to prevent your soap from getting all soggy and wet. Glazed with turquoise celadon non toxic glaze that nicely pools in the lace texture. The glaze has a crackle effect and will have more crackles over time. Each step in the making process required a firing in an electric kiln at temperatures higher than 1100°C.
