Protea flower small dish, pottery white pink copper Australiana rustic ring holder ceramic jewellery dish.I made this Australiana themed small dishes from a slab of white stoneware clay and textured the wet clay with the protea flower stamp. I've used 6 different underglaze colors to hand decorate the dish. The ring tray was glazed with glossy clear food safe glaze. The making process included firing the piece twice in an electric kiln at temperatures higher than 1220'C. The final third firing was to set the copper lustre around the rim which gives the dish nice classy shine. The bottom side was left unglazed.
Diameter: approx 11 cm
Not suitable for microwave and dishwasher, due to metal lustre rim.
